NGOMBE People

The Ngombe are a Democratic Republic of Congo people. Most Ngombes live along the Zaire River, north of the settlements of Mbandaka and Basankusu, where they traditionally pursued a riverine lifestyle—fishing, farming on the river banks, and trading goods up and down the Zaire River in northwestern Zaire.
